Watthana has a background in financial engineering , credit risk modeling and quantitative analytics. He is currently Head of Modeling at ABACUS digital, where he is responsible for developing and enhancing credit risk models that support lending decisions.

Prior to joining ABACUS digital, he was a credit risk modeler at Kiatnakin Phatra, where he researched modeling techniques for credit risk and provided analytical support for business decisions. Before that, he was a consultant in EY’s Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team, developing and validating credit risk models, including IFRS 9 models, for various financial institutions in Thailand. 

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Financial Engineering, both from Chulalongkorn University.
