Pongthai has over 20 years of experience in software development from leading companies in Thailand. 

Before joining ABACUS digital, Pongthai served as an assistant director at Ascend Group, a fintech subsidiary of True Corporation. He was involved in leading and managing technical teams to build e-commerce platforms, O2O platform, e-procurement systems, and an online travel agency platform. 

Prior to Ascend Group, he was a software development manager at Thomson Reuters, focusing on designing systems architecture and integration of high-performance financial data systems that serve several financial institutions worldwide.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Kasetsart University, and an M.Sc. in Applied Statistics from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA). He is a Full Stack Developer and a Certified Scrum Master.
