Data Analyst 

At ABACUS digital, we are working hard to provide better access to credit for everyone, aiming to solve one of the fundamental problems in Thailand – financial inclusion. Our flagship product is the digital lending application, MoneyThunder, that is already used by more than one million people in Thailand. We are at the stage of scaling the impact beyond the first million.

 

As a Data Analyst, you will bring your passion and expertise in data analytics to empower the team to make informed decisions and take creative approaches to solve business problems using insights from data. You will get to learn about latest data technology popular among tech startups and best practices in data analytics from other talented team members

What you will do

​

  • ​Be proactive in analyzing the relevant data (from both internal and external sources) to provide insights and recommendations to make business impact.

  • Design and implement experiments to measure impact of new product features to make the launch decision.

  • Provide quick responses to ad-hoc inquiries for making important decisions.

  • Build and maintain dashboards and necessary ETL pipelines for ongoing business analysis.

  • Empower the team to make data-driven decisions by making data widely accessible to the whole company.

What we are looking for

​

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience with a cloud data warehouse environment (e.g., BigQuery) and some BI tools is desirable.

  • Ability to identify business issues and opportunities with data-driven approaches.

  • Ability to communicate insights from data to product stakeholders using proper visualizations or plain language.

  • Experience working with user growth of a mobile-app-based product is a plus.
