Corporate PR Specialist

What you will do

  • Lead and execute corporate PR plans and strategy, seeking top placements in media to increase company visibility

  • Build and manage relationship with local and regional media, key journalists, influencer, community, and public interest groups

  • Recognize and create media opportunities for ABACUS digital in line with wider industry activity (media interviews, speaker for events, etc.)

  • Work collaboratively with the communication team to develop materials to support media opportunities, including press briefings, press releases, fact sheets, messaging/Q&As

  • Create and prioritize the list of award opportunities that aligns with company’s current goals and objective as well as execute the application submission process

  • Oversee and manage interviews (including scheduling, logistics, and prep) and work with the internal teams to leverage all media coverage

  • Develop and lead communications plan that reflect and help advance company’s commitments on ESG, ensuring external positioning aligns with the goals of the company and business strategy

  • Establish, track and report key corporate branding and PR related metrics


What we are looking for

  • Bachelor or higher degree in public relations, journalism, business administration, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, or corporate communications

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both Thai and English

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Can do attitude, hands on, results-driven and possess self-initiative

  • Able to work well under-pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Experience with mobile application and/or lending business is a plus
