What you will do

​​

• Research, develop and apply AI, GenAI, and Deep Learning to improve our products and business operations

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact business problems that can
  benefit from AI applications

• Lead solution architect and drive security / design reviews for AI initiatives.

• Lead the end-to-end development of AI applications into production, adhering to software engineering best practices (code quality, testing, CI/CD, observability, and security)

• Stay current with AI/ML/GenAI research and technologies

• Mentor junior/mid-level teammates and contribute to ABACUS Tech Excellence initiatives such as Tech Talks, Tech Bootcamp, AI Transformation, Hackathons

What we are looking for

​

• Passion for building great and impactful technology

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

• Strong background in Computer Science and Software Engineering (algorithms, data structures, software architecture, OOP, system designs)

• 6+ years building end-to-end ML systems in production; 2+ years in tech-lead roles

• Proficiency with PyTorch/TensorFlow and Python data science packages (scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas)

• Solid grasp of DL and ML fundamentals and the end-to-end lifecycle (data → features → training → evaluation → deployment → iterate)

• Experience with developing Generative AI applications using modern agentic frameworks is a plus

• Experience with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, MLflow) is a plus
